Editorial / Pulbication Policy

Articles, comments and opinions are welcome and accepted. Please try to keep comments at a PG-13 level, on topic and refrain from personal attacks. Family members of public officials, unless they independently possess a public personality, position or notoriety are not acceptable subjects for submitted materials.

Articles, opinions and other material submitted to The Citizen may be edited for spelling and grammar. There is no desire to alter the original intent or meaning of any submission. Some rules must apply: Authors who perform spell check and review for grammatical problems will increase the probability of publication. Forwarded emails with prior Internet circulation have low probability of publication. Materials received in ALL CAPS will not be published.

The Citizen, its editor(s) and Henry Citizens for Responsible Government accept no responsibility for content submitted for publication with regard to original citation, authorship or source.

Private email addresses will never be sold, conveyed or shared for any commercial purpose. E-mail addresses are collected by The Citizen for subscription, opt-out or verification of identity. Authors desiring publication are required to use a valid e-mail address for those purposes. Submissions from anonymous sources are considered to be spam and will not be published.
